The design of the Frank Lloyd Wright April Showers Ceramic Bowls is adapted from his "April Showers" cover design submitted to Liberty Magazine. However it was considered too avant-garde and rejected. In this design, Wright's masterful use of the tools of his trade: a t-square, triangle, compass, colored pencils, created an enduring design that captures the essence of spring.
