The hand glazed Frank Lloyd Wright Coonley House Ceramic Tile by Carly Quinn features adesign that is adapted from a watercolor of a tapestry rug planned for the Avery Coonley House. Designed between 1906 and 1908, the rug was never executed. Each tile is a unique work of art, and glaze variations add to the inherent beauty of each piece. All tiles come cork backed to protect surfaces and have a hole at the top of the backing for easy hanging. Due to the hand glazed nature of these tiles, no two are exactly alike and variations are expected. Dimensions: 6" x 3".
Carly Quinn founded her studio in 2011 with the idea of bringing life to an age old art form known as Cuerda Seca. Designed, glazed and fired at her studio in Tucson, AZ. Carly Quinn Designs is one of a handful of studios across the globe that creates hand glazed tiles using old world techniques.
