This Tiffany Peony Cloisonné Blown Glass Ornament from the Metropolitan Museum of Art is based on the elaborate lampshade on a bronze floor lamp by Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848-1933). Its beautiful leaded-glass lampshade (1904-15) in The Met collection is decorated with brightly colored peony blossoms nestled amid rich green foliage. Each piece of glass in the shade mimics the petals and leaves of actual flowers. Each ornament measures 3" in diameter with a coordinated gold mesh ribbon attached for hanging, and comes in a padded decorative gift box.
