Description
This Tiffany Daffodil Cloisonné Blown Glass Ornament from the Metropolitan Museum of Art features radiant colors and celebrates details from Louis Comfort Tiffany's (1848-1933) Daffodil lamp produced by Tiffany Studios (1902-1932). The daffodil was a popular Tiffany Studios subject over several decades, with archival photographs showing that artisans drew inspiration from nature by arranging real daffodils on model shades. Produced around 1904-1910, the Daffodil lamp exemplifies the Gilded Age master's fascination with light, color and nature. Each ornament measures 3" in diameter with a coordinated gold mesh ribbon attached for hanging, and comes in a padded decorative gift box.
