Three Sisters - Morning Reflection Matted Block Print by Yoshiko Yamamoto

$260.00

“Three Sisters-Morning Reflection” is a tribute to the end of summer days. It is based on Yoshiko Yamamoto’s watercolor sketch at Scott Lake overlooking the majestic set of three mountains - Three Sisters. This linoleum block print was printed from 14 layers of colors using hand-carved blocks. Each color was hand-printed on acid-free 100% cotton Strathmore Paper, with Charbonnel ink, using Vandercook 4 printing press. Each print is signed and is one of a numbered limited edition of 200. Matted size: 16” x 34”.

Founded in 1996 by Yoshiko Yamamoto with her husband Bruce Smith, the Arts & Crafts Press uses antique printing presses to handcraft traditional woodblock prints and letterpress printed greeting cards at their studio in Tacoma, Washington. While preserving and advancing the traditional aspects of letterpress and woodblock printing, the Arts and Crafts Press also strives to print for our future generations with a commitment to seeking alternative, "greener" printing materials and tools.
