Wright coined the term “Usonian” for his moderately priced houses; he believed that everyone should have access to beautiful products at all price levels. Edward Boynton commissioned Wright to build a total work of art, including the house, landscaping, and furniture. Wright designed elaborate art glass for the Boynton residence, including this design for a sideboard glass insert. The Boynton House cotton flat weave rug is hand-loomed in India.
