Charles Rennie Mackintosh (Scottish, 1868–1928) is renowned for designing not only buildings but also coordinating interiors. In 1914 Mackintosh and his English born wife, artist Margaret Macdonald (1864–1933), left Glasgow for England, where Mackintosh produced textile designs and still-life watercolor compositions. Later, in France, he devoted himself to landscape painting. The Charles Rennie Mackintosh 2012 Wall Calendar contains eleven elegant examples from Mackintosh’s wide-ranging oeuvre as a painter and textile designer and one mixed-media work by Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh. Published with the Hunterian Museum & Art Gallery, University of Glasgow. Twelve monthly grids and full-color artwork. Click on the small picture to see the back cover.
